Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026. These terms govern your use of purrytale.com (the “Service”), operated by Purrytale (“we”). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

Purrytale turns text — pasted by you or generated by AI from your prompt — into narrated audiobooks (MP3). Files are available to download for a limited time (currently 7 days) and then deleted.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email. You’re responsible for keeping access to your email secure. You can delete your account at any time.

3. Credits (minutes)

You buy prepaid minutes and spend them to generate audiobooks. Minutes do not expire. Pricing is shown at checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Immediate delivery & withdrawal waiver

Audiobooks are digital content delivered immediately. By clicking Generate you request immediate performance and acknowledge you lose the right to withdraw from that audiobook. See the Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You are responsible for the text you submit. Do not use the Service for content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexual, or that violates others’ rights. It is intended for family-friendly bedtime stories. We may refuse or remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

6. Intellectual property

You keep rights to the text you own and provide. You are granted the audio output for your personal use. You must have the rights to any third-party text you submit.

7. Third-party processors

We use third parties to run the Service, including Soniox (text-to-speech), Google (AI story generation), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Hetzner (hosting).

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits your non-waivable statutory consumer rights.

9. Changes & consumer rights

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here. Nothing in these terms affects the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, which continue to apply.
